The Dynatrac ProRock Axle Housing Kit is one of the strongest front axle kits available on the market. Known for optimal strength, ground clearance, and quality, Dynatrac’s ProRock 44™ sets the bar to another level when it comes to performance.
The ProRock™ 44 has been developed for those who want the same benefits as the ProRock™ 60, but in a smaller and lighter package designed to fit vehicles properly, without extensive modifications.
Additionally, the ProRock® 44 allows users to keep the stock steering knuckles and brakes. However combined with a set of strong axle shafts to your liking, then you will have a very robust combination that can easily host a set of larger wheels and tires.
Other features include 3” thick wall tubing, as opposed to the factory tubing which is at 2.5” X .25 wall tubing. The ProRock™ is a high-pinion Dana 44 replacement housing with the latest generation Dana 44 ring & pinion. This particular ring & pinion has a larger ring gear, and a larger pinion shaft than the prior Dana 44s.
Each housing also includes Dynatrac’s new implemented end forging which adds more strength for running larger wheels and tires. More importantly, they will maintain the correct wheel camber even under extreme use.
For TJ/XJ models, the ProRock 44™ housing is fully compatible with existing stock Dana 30, and Dana 44 outer axle shafts, knuckles, hub bearings, as well as brakes. The TJ ProRock 44™ housing will require a new locker (3.73 and down), ring and pinion (JK Rubicon), as well as custom length inner axle shafts.
The extreme-duty steel suspension brackets are 50% thicker, and stronger when compared to the factory brackets. These are computer designed, and CNC developed in the USA.
