The Poison Spyder Heavy Duty Header Bar Kit has been designed to reinforce your existing cage, or it would make for a great addition to the Trail Cage. The factory header bars are smaller in diameter with thin-wall tubing designed to protect the wind shield. However in the unfortunate event of a roll, you w ould want something more robust that can provide you with as much protection as possible, and that is where the Poison Spyder Heavy Duty Header Bar comes in handy.
The heavy Duty Header Bars are crafted from high strength 1 ¾” X .120 wall DOM structural tubing that is welded onto 3/16” CNC laser cut mount plates. More importantly, it has a yield strength of 70000 PSI, with a tensile strength of 44668lbs. The Heavy Duty Bar Kit can also be installed by itself, without the Trail Cage, or with other aftermarket add-on cage kits.
