This clever variation of our Bar Pin Eliminator enables the fitment of professional off_road racing shock absorbers to your JeepÆ. The cross pins are designed to accommodate 1/2 inch or 12mm ID spherical bearings utilized by manufacturers such as BilsteinÆ, Sway_A_WayÆ and FoxÆ.
The unique conical mounting blocks take full advantage of the additional flexibility offered by spherical bearings. And to reduce noise transfer into the vehicle cabin, special preload cones made from space_age DelrinÆ are incorporated into the design.
Bar Pin Adapters are made from premium grade steel that has been machined to a smooth finish. Zinc plating and anti-corrosive mounting hardware provide long-lasting protection from the elements.
Note: Installation of Bar Pin Adapters effectively reduces the static length of shock absorber by 0.40 inch.
Attention: Racing Shocks are not mounted to the vehicle with traditional rubber or polyurethane bushings, therefore, the amount of noise transferred into the cabin increases noticeably.
