Great Product! 9 years ago
This bumper is perfect! It's not going to save any weight on your jeep, it took two guys to lift this thing up. It weighs 100lbs+ If anything gets in your way it will be sure to knock it over lol There are two mounting holes to mount lights on the far corners of the bumper also. i have two rigid dually mounted in these locations.

No Second Choice - Love the Bumper 5 years ago

Love the bumper, no second choice, can't wait to buy the winch. I do wish there were other options for light mounting but you can get creative for that. The Light mount holes are directly in front of the grille mounted turn signals, If you plan to mount round lights, you obstruct the turn signal view from the front. The JK install was not just as easy as the video you watched on youtube. You may have to wobble all mounting holes in the frame endplate flanges, and grind off some of the outboard edges, of the frame side mounting flange (I had to take off about 1/4in off the drivers side). The Bumper has a welded plates L/R that does compensate for Jeep cross-car tolerances. In my case, I had to make the mod to line up with the mounting holes. Do yourself a big favor and buy a can of frame paint, or undercoating, or rustoleum, and recoat everthing you can see. Use a piece of the cardboard box to shield the things you don't want to overspray. The coatings on my frame were getting thin and showing some rust. Fresh skin sets the bumper up very nicely. The small skidplate that mounts to the bumper only allowed me to attached with 2 bolts. The middle bolt has a vertical plate, welded inside the bumper, that prevents install of washer and nut. I talked to technical support for a solution - just leave it out. the skid plate is attached with 5 bolts instead of 6... If it bends - I'm sure they will help me out with a replacement. Additional recommended tool: 4in Die Grinder
