    AEV 2.5

This is the second time I have used an AEV lift. Install is simple with the right tools. Getting the rig off the ground is the key, lets the axle droop all the way to the ground. Springs will fall right out and new ones go in with ease. Just bought this 2012 COD Jeep and with the age of the factory springs, I got almost 3.5 inches of lift out of this kit. Overall with the 315’s I got 5” and 5.5” Front to back.

It’s tight but it fits. The install of the plate is fairly simple and didn’t take long. Maybe spent an hour and a half start to finish. I use a heat gun to speed up dry times on the touch up paint. Hate watching paint dry.

Out of all my jeeps, this is the first one that I can let go of the steering wheel at 75. Also installed the tie rods and stabilizer.. will be adding the front and rear adjustable track bars to replace the brand x that I bought originally. This is on a 2012 Call of Duty so I had to trim the AEV skid plate to clear the attenuator. Wasn’t much, just extended the inset that was there from the factory over about 6 inches
