It's a Warn! I know it will work well

I needed a winch for my 2014 Wrangler, but the prices of the Warn winches that I have used recreationally and professionally (Forest Fire Control) since the 1970's of course have gone way up. Then I saw that they have the EVO line. It isn't made in the USA, it's made in China BUT as it has the Warn name on it I know it is made to Warn's Specifications and thus I chose this winch. I mounted right up to my Barricade Extreme HD bumper easily. The only complaint I have was that I wish the red (power) cable lead was about 2 feet longer, it would have allowed me to route the wiring away from hot areas in the engine compartment. The Black (ground) lead was a little longer, and for some reason Warn doesn't attach this cable to the winch. One thing to note: This winch is 9ounted using 12 mm metric bolts, so a Factor 55 winch lock that I bought from Northridge at the same time was returned by me, as it won't work, the Factor 55 is SAE thread. That is especially frustrating as Factor 55 is now owned by Warn. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, but would have bought longer cable leads at tractor supply or an auto parts store to ease wire routing for a better and cleaner installation. Note: This winch pricing is better at Northridge than other dealers.
