Approach angle!
escape_idiocracy 2 years ago
This bumper is awesome! You can definitely go above and beyond with the frame chop- we took about 3.5-4in off and this allowed for us to push the green inch back into the grill area. I highly recommend making a decision on a sway bar prior to cutting…. I went from the rubicon sway bar to SwayLoc. However, I’m sure If you choose the Currie you would benefit from installing it before this bumper to check for clearance. This bumper added so much to approach- can’t say enough good things about it. Welds were solid, Fitment was on point, zero issues- made in America!!!

Awesome flood lights

These lights are phenomenal. They are low profile and fit below my rhino rack platform rack on my hard top. They have a high low wiring configuration, this makes driving the desert and through canyons awesome at night, and yet allows me to drop to low 5 watt usage to illuminate camp at night and let the kids play. 3 lights run for hours on low and do not use much battery at all! These are seriously over looked lights.

hd springs

I have went through a few different springs, in search for a set that works best with my application. I wanted springs that have a long unsprung length to cut down on unseating. However, I am also heavy- I run a 200# roof top tent (sometimes) and camping gear, recovery gear, and two kids. My loaded weight changes a LOT. These springs, unloaded- no spare netted 3.5in lift. With the tent, spare, tools, recovery gear, camping gear they settled at 3in- however they are also at 3in without the tent and just the spare, recovery gear, and basic tools. They ride GREAT. I have had them paired with rock sport shocks and bilstein 7100's and after going through 3 different companies I am glad i gave synergy a shot.

straight springs

Best $25 bucks spent on the rear! I am running 3in synergy springs, and even with this lower lift the rear springs were sitting cupped- and when tucking a tire under flex really bowed. These wedges keep the rear springs nice and straight. Installation was easy- or as easy as changing springs, with the synergy 3in springs I have, I used a spring compressor and slid them under the rear spring one at a time- took about 30 minutes total.

Best bang for your buck!

These are extremely well made! I love the ability to fine tune the droop in the rear suspension. There has been a balancing act with gaining the most amount of ground clearance but not having to increase bump to cut back on up travel. These allowed me to get within 1/4in of max compressed length, but extend droop down to 29.75in. Paint coating is like all other synergy products- top notch! Grade 8 hardware, and perfect alignment for bolt holes. Install took about an hour and a half. Used a saw-saw for cutting the factory brackets and a flap disk on a grinder to smooth everything out.
