I got this hinge kit because my hinges had started to squeak after going to 37" tires. I'd already installed the adjustable carrier so it was convenient that I could just get the hinges separately. Pulling it out of the box I was surprised by how heavy it was. The instructions were clear and installation went pretty much as described. The swing gate closes MUCH smoother now, the hinge pins look to be twice the diameter of stock and the knuckles are have a lot more material. Overall, love the product, don't love the price. I did find my tailgate sticking out a little too far on the latch side towards the end of the install. I thought adjusting the striker plate would be easy but that turned into a real ordeal. If you need to do the same, take the time to find a way to mark the current position of the striker plate. Keep in mind your adjustment should be very small and there are two click positions on the latch. I pushed the striker plate all the way forwards and didn't realize the door latch was stopping on the first click and leaving the door sticking out more than it was to begin with. For some reason this form won't let me link the video of the hinge gate https://youtube.com/shorts/m5Ynu5qkRI0?feature=share

Agree with other reviewers - they are flush so they are a lot less likely to get broken in the rocks. They are way too expensive for what they are, and they should come with the wheels instead of being add ons. Lower rating based on price.

After I finished installing these late one night, turned on the glow and immediately thought - this can't be legal. Turns out displaying red lights on the front is not legal so instead of tying them into my daytime running lights I tied them into the rock lights and also got the plastic covers. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/light-covers-guards/36362-sb-rigid-industries-360-series-6in-led-light-cover-black-pair I was a little bummed at first that I had to cover them up but now am glad. I like the idea of keeping them covered on the road since it keeps the bugs and rocks from damaging the lens. As for the main lights, I mounted them to the front bumper and pointed them slightly outboard. When we're driving on dark country roads they do a GREAT job of lighting up the sides. To make using them more convenient I used a relay and tied the main lights into my high beam. The pawer from the aux switch powers these lights but they are activated with my high beams. This is first time I've had offroad lights so I never knew what I was missing. Normal high beams seem so dim in comparison.

I've clanked mine on the rocks a few times and the powder coat has held up well. I like that they have a build in drain hole and dip stick, both with strong magnets on them. I got front and rear covers for both Jeeps. During install I found ONE of them had incorrect coarse threaded bolts in the box. Fortunately I had another box to scavenge from but could have been a real problem since the oil had already been drained at that point. Also the four long bolts that straddle the axle tube were bottoming out on one for one of them. It appeared the holes weren't threaded deep enough so I had to use a tap to correct. Later I had the o-ring on the top fill port split, probably from me overtightening it. So if you check diff oil periodically, have spare o-rings. Just a few things to check and be aware/prepared for.

    Love these rock lights

I did have to get an additional pair to do front and rear on every tire but they do a great job lighting up the ground. Wire length was sufficient to go from the battery ,across the engine bay, through the frame rail to the rear corner. I used the included Z brackets everywhere but under the front bumper. I didn't find the power distribution block helpful since I couldn't figure out a way to mount it. Also a Public Service Announcement - if you go with colored lights and mount them up in your wheel well that's fine but they aren't rock lights at that point, they're accent lights.

KC Hilites Cyclone 6-Light LED Rock Light Kit - Clear

    Very solid, quality piece

I put this on after increasing tire size because our rear park assist alarm kept going off. It let me raise the spare up and tuck it in close to the tailgate. Kinda wish I'd gone with their tailgate/hinge reinforcement as well but I already had the mopar one installed. I did have one of the factory bolts strip out the hole while REMOVING it so had to tap it a size larger. It was probably over torqued at the factory. Otherwise no problems with the install and would definitely recommend.

I really like the lift but they missed one important detail

We have two Jeeps, one is a 2.0T with eTorque and the other is an EcoDiesel, both have AEV lifts installed (among other things). I think AEV does a great job providing value with better than factory road handling and good enough off road capability. It is apparent they tune their components for the various vehicle configuration. Here is my ONLY beef with the diesel lift - not only did they fail to take into account the longer jounce tube, their tech support kind of dismissed the issue as unimportant. The front jounce tube is longer by 1 3/8" for the diesel, 392, and XR package. I've measured it and the install instructions for the Teraflex lift calls it out. To account for the longer jounce tube in these models, you need to install LESS bump extension otherwise you're going to constantly be hitting your bump stops on pot holes, speed bumps, train tracks, basically every day driving. The bump stop extensions that are included in this package (round things in the very center of the picture) are TOO BIG. I took the springs back out and checked clearance without the extensions. They aren't necessary to clear 35" and probably not even 37"s. You only need to add about 1/2" to prevent over compressing the shocks. I used these TeraFlex ones instead: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/bump-stops/1959300-teraflex-front-and-rear-bump-stop-strike-pad-kit Also, you'll beat the snot out the geometry correction brackets if you play in the rocks but they're relatively cheap to replace.

Seems very strong and easy to adjust.

Before ordering I called Teraflex to make sure these were made in the USA. We have the same ones front and rear in both the JLUR 2.0T and the JLUR 3.0 EcoDiesel. They clear the ARB diff covers front and rear and there are no exhaust clearance issues. Even on the diesel where I confirmed with TF to confirm that the bend still goes on the drivers side. Adjustment can be made with it installed but it is important to torque the clamping collar bolts per their instructions. Basically go back and forth between the two. Tighten one, the other loses clamping force, tighten the other one and the first one loses clamping force, back and forth, etc. Also the bolt head is a 12 point and very snug. I only have one socket that fits it so recommend you ensure have one that fits before beginning install.

Teraflex HD Forged Adjustable Rear Track Bar - 0-6in Lift

Really like this bumper with ONE exception
    BDinTX 12 months ago
If you go to oversized tires you will likely rub during suspension articulation. Not unique to this bumper. Otherwise it has great finish quality, strong recovery points, compliments the factory lines, has a platform to mount additional lights, INCLUDES a winch mounting plate, INCLUDES flip up license plate holder. Does NOT accept factory LED fog lights which have a different mounting pattern than the halogen. It is heavy, get a friend and balance it on a floor jack while you bolt it on.

ARB Bondi Deluxe Front Bumper w/ Bar

    Love this thing

The install is about what you'd expect. I don't have a vehicle lift so put jack stands under the front axle to give my fat self more space to work. The hardest part is getting the factory fuel tank skid plate off. I used an electricians fish tape to push under the tank to pull the nylon ratched strap back through. It's tough and has taken a beating and I really like that it relocates the fuel filter up to protect it. A lot of internet claims about aluminum gouging up but I'm not seeing that on these. A previous brand which used 5052 DID get gouged though. The price is a little high so wait for it to go on sale if you can. Paint red and add stickers to gain horsepower.

Artec Industries Full Bellypan Kit - Aluminum

Tough to install but excellent quality

The welds and fitment are great, the two piece brackets are pretty tricky to install. I've hit it several times I've hit it on the rocks now so definitely glad it's there.
